This was a commission from Priscilla who had donated this land to be used as park. The Seattle Yacht club wanted the adjoining waterfront in order to expand their moorage. Priscilla wanted to show that while small, this site offered an important water and territorial view to the public. It was a priviledge to make a difference with my art, and I believe this image helped the City Council decide to turn down the request by the Yacht Club. I also showed up at the meeting and said what a nice park I thought it was. Priscilla is enjoying the view sitting on the bench with her faithful Pup. Oh yes, the location is Port Madison at the North end of Baibridge. Having lived many years just north of the red house, I loved doing this view! SOLD
