Glad to see all this beautiful art in one place!!!! Congrats on becoming a blogger. Great site, great art, super cool opportunity to share your talents and gifts!!!! Bravo!!! Love, Edie
A soul filled sloop built by the Wooden Boat School in Port Townsend. Moored in Eagle Harbor on Bainbridge, I couldn't resist putting a small ripple in the water. Corny, but what the heck. It was purchased by a U.S. Navy diver, which made me feel very good, as he must have had a good idea what water should look like! There is a blog for "Ripple". I met the builder in charge of this project at the Wooden Boat Show in Pt. Townsend. Three of them were built by students. SOLD
S/V Ripple....the "Ripple Effect" The owner of this painting contacted me wondering if I had any information regarding this lovely boat. I found a blog, "S/V Ripple: Weekend Idyls", and have been communicating with Stu, the Skipper and owner. It is such fun for me to make a connection between the purchaser of my art, a Navy diver, and the owner of this classic boat, which may eventually lead to a future sailing trip for the three of us! A perfect way to end 2012. Best wishes for a very Happy New Year. Ted Hoppin
