Delightful small nature preserve at north Bainbridge Island, WA. Some amazing large Douglas Fir tree stumps, very sculptural, and rotting snags, showing signs of woodpecker snacking! Many varieties of native plants. There are two shelters built by Boy Scouts years ago with wonderful stone chimneys, and steep access to the beach. The pump house served a mobile home that was once located on the site, and if you squint, you will see the lovely woman (ghostly) in the doorway. Our Wednesday Watercolor group enjoyed painting here in a grassy field, along with various tall weeds reaching for the sun! Very peaceful!! (17" x 11.25") $850
