Our plein air group visited Wacky Nut Farm on Bainbridge Island. What a day with huge storm clouds overhead, and well cared for horses munching grass and enjoying the morning with us. There is a lovely community garden on the farm, and I painted Vencie immersed in the lavender and poppies with the bees busily collecting pollen, ignoring the happy artists. With Father's Day tomorrow, it was nice to be with so many happy, beautiful "Poppies"! (11" x 15") $250
