One of my favorite lighthouses located high on the Oregon coast with surging surf and active offshore rookeries below. Commenced operation in 1873, and the tallest lighthouse in Oregon. I have been sorting through older paintings and am posting the ones that make me particularly happy! This reminds me of a delightful painting trip taken some years ago to all of the lighthouses on the coast with other artists. Some were shrouded in fog or wild weather, which is of course why they are where they are, but making painting them sometimes difficult! (14.5" x 21") $1,800
