One of my favorite trees at The Bloedel Reserve on Bainbridge Island. A gardener told me that the platform near the top of the tree is a favorite hangout for raccoons during the day. He also told me that the tree is wired together, and probably won't be standing too much longer. Our Wednesday Watercolor Group will be having a show at Bloedel during October and November. This tree is located northwest of the birch tree garden, north of the steps leading up to the house. (20" x 14") $400
