This is an enlargement of the ferry in the painting "Making the Last Turn". I wanted the ferry to be coming to Bainbridge, and noticed there were no people on deck, and no car headlights showing. So, I had to make some adjustments including changing the port and starboard lights, and voila, the ferry was coming into the painting instead of heading to Seattle. I was intrigued by the reflected light and vivid greens. I painted Mt. Rainier very quickly and am pleased with the result. The crater lip was showing in one of my photographs, and the usual cloud cap pulled away. I hope you feel the throbbing power of this beautiful functional, moving, piece of sculpture! 14"x21" $1,400
