  1. I have walked this path many times and it never seems the same. This painting is of the water retention pond after heavy Fall rains allowing the water to percolate, and release over time into the ocean. It was great fun to make friends with the incredible trees whose branches stretch a very long distance in order to catch the suns rays. This was the site of a WWII radio station which was involved in breaking the Japanese code, a major factor in ending the War. A pair of Osprey nest on the water tower in the background. The park is beautifully maintained by Bainbridge Island Parks and Rec.
