These wonderful 54mm toy soldiers were cast and painted by Bill Hocker of California. My plein air group is having a Christmas show at the Bainbridge library, and this watercolor is my way of sharing the artistic beauty and character of these miniature pieces. As a young child, and what the heck, even today, opening a box of toy soldiers is Christmas at its best!
