  1. View looking North from the Inn at Langley on Whidbey Island, WA. This was an overcast day, and the tide flat at the lower grew as the tide went out, and became a feeding trough for crows, seagulls, great blue herons, and bald eagles. I used a very limited palette, with idigo the main color, and a splash of leaf green for the sea weed.
The scene was very calm and constantly changing. Whales come to feed in the bay on their way from Mexico to Alaska.
The Inn at Langley is a very special place, with hot tubs in each room looking at this amazing view. The local theatrical group was putting on "our Town" while we were there. A perfect get away and re charge for me and Anne!
    (11.5" x 17.5") $800
