  1. This is a lovely public park on Puget Sound, looking across to Magnolia, and Shilshole, Seattle. Formerly a State Park, it is now maintained by the Bainbridge Island Park District. There are camp sites, and a marvelous beach, which I painted on a low tide. The logs are from a time when felled trees would be towed in the Sound by tugs, and often, logs would escape from the log booms.
Eagles nest in fir trees above the beach, along with many varieties of song birds, gulls, and crows.
An exquisit Bainbridge plein air day!!
